A significant decoration.
I work at a WWII museum, and we recently had a Dutch woman who now lives in the US, come to tell her story of survival of Germany’s invasion and occupation in 1940 to the end of the war in 1945. I hung this flag on the wall close to her and it made a BIG impression to all who attended. At the end of her presentation, I gave the flag to her which elicited an emotional response of gratitude. Hers is another story that needs to be remembered. This flag is so significant to those of Dutch decent.
